Case Hay Wagon |
|
|
|
 |
With Case Farm Wagon,
your wagons become as
efficient and capable as
your tractor or
automobile. These farm
wagons provide short
turning and low, easy
loading with high
clearance under the
axles. Heavy welded
construction assures
generous strength to
handle big loads over
rough fields and rutted
side roads. Front axle
is designed to protect
steering drag links from
damage by stumps or
rocks.
|
 |
On the highway, tapered
roller bearings and
rubber tires give smooth
hauling at reasonable
speeds. Bearings are
tightly sealed against
sand, dirt, and
moisture. Steering
linkage is designed for
firm control of wheels
which eliminates "whip."
Pressure-gun fittings
provide for quick and
positive lubrication of
entire steering
mechanism.
|
 |
Case design places the
axles high enough to
serve also as bolsters,
making the truck more
rigid and eliminating
extra parts. Telescoping
reach provides wheelbase
lengths from 6 feet 10
inches to 9 feet 6
inches. Extension
permits a wheelbase of
10 feet 6 inches on the
standard truck, and 10
feet 10 inches on the
wide tread.

SHORT TURNING
Owners of Case Farm
Wagons praise
their short, easy
turning. As the tongue
is turned, the inside
end of the axle raises
slightly, providing
extra clearance between
the wheel and wagon box.
Spindles and steering
mechanism are engineered
for firm wheel control
which means steady
trailing both in the
field and on the
highway. Tongue is
firmly anchored to front
axle with all parts
amply heavy to handle
full capacity loads
whether backing or
pulling ahead.

MORE STABILITY FOR BIG LOADS ON ROLLING GROUND
With wide 66-inch wheel tread, you can haul big, high loads with less danger of tipping over, an important advantage when working on hillsides or on rolling land. Even on level farms where occasional ditches and draws must be crossed, the wide-set wheels are helpful. |
 |
STRADDLES CORN ROWS
TRACKS BETTER BEHIND TRACTOR, PICKER
The 66-inch wheel spacing straddles corn and soybean rows -and fits the spacings of most narrow-row crops. The wheels travel over smoother ground between the rows - important when being pulled behind a corn picker. Usually follows in tracks of the tractor wheels because it matches the more common tractor wheel treads - pulls easier over soft ground. |
 |
BUILT TO HAUL BIGGER LOADS
- MAKES BETTER USE OF
TRACTOR POWER
Full 7.000-pound rated capacity. The steel chassis is built to withstand more than 6-ply tires should carry. Capable of hauling over 85 bushels of ear corn and 100 to 150 bushels of small grain per load. Larger loads mean fewer trips, faster hauling, more work done per day with less labor. Fewer return trips save tractor fuel. |

IDEAL FOR MECHANIZED
HANDLING OF COTTON
Whether hauling loose, freshly picked cotton from the field to gin or transporting the heavy bales from gin to market, the Case Wide Tread Truck serves the cotton grower. |
