The Keller Family Tractor Collection
|
|
No
words could do justice to the Keller collection. Thankfully, I took hundreds of
pictures. So you too can
witness what is arguably the largest and rarest private
tractor collection in the world. |

2006 Rock River Thresheree |
Antique Farming had the privilege of attending two days of this 4 day event.. The nearly 600 Rock River members put on a show that didn’t disappoint.
Before you even park your vehicle you sense you’re in for a treat. First thing you notice is the clubs steam locomotive circling the clubs one hundred acre property.
Shuttle wagons pick up spectators at roofed bus stop type shelters with seating.
The tractors that ran the shuttle wagons were some nicely restored monsters. Nice Touch...
The show grounds house numerous permanent attractions which include Museum of Agriculture & Industry, Buckwheat & Corn Meal Grist Mill, Saw Mill, Blacksmith Shop/Wheel Wright. Those are just a few of the many attractions to enjoy.
Other, day of the show attractions include a large flea market, plenty of food and Yes TRACTORS
The show featured a wide verity of tractors from gas to steam traction engines. The tractor parade that runs in the early afternoon everyday of the show parades in and out of a valley that allows for some great viewing.
All in all, I rate the show a don’t miss. http://www.thresheree.org
